Jessica Wong
Communications Director
Jessica Wong is the Communications Director of Yidan Prize Foundation. Jessica ensures effective and authentic storytelling as the Foundation spotlights changemakers and bright ideas in education. She firmly believes in the power of words and the importance of using fair and dignified language. One of Jessica’s core convictions is that education should be an inherent human right, not a privilege given by others. Through her work in global communications, she celebrates learners’ agency in creating their own destinies, and promotes respect, inclusivity, and a deeper understanding of local educational needs and challenges.
Before joining the foundation, Jessica worked in arts and culture. She was part of the opening team of Tai Kwun, one of the largest heritage revitalization projects in Hong Kong, which went on to receive the 2019 UNESCO Asia-Pacific Award of Excellence for Cultural Heritage Conservation. During her tenure, she managed both online and offline campaigns for Tai Kwun’s year-round arts and cultural activities. She also oversaw its visitor engagement programs fostering appreciation for arts and heritage in the community.
Over the past decade, Jessica has worked with local and international brands ranging from aviation, food and beverage, to banking and finance. She has developed impactful content and marketing strategies that reach and engage diverse audiences. Jessica holds a BSc and MSc from University of Leicester and the Chinese University of Hong Kong, respectively.
