“I am delighted to welcome Bruce to the Yidan Prize Foundation,” said Dr Charles CHEN Yidan, founder of the Yidan Prize. “Bruce shares our belief that education is the key to unlocking pathways for a brighter future. His expertise in mobilizing actors across disciplines and sectors to collaborate on impactful initiatives is deeply valuable. I trust that he will provide the leadership we need to drive collective action among today’s changemakers and tomorrow’s leaders in response to the pressing demands of our fast-changing world.”
“The Yidan Prize represents not only a significant accolade in education but also a hub of changemakers and cutting-edge initiatives that drive systemic change,” said Bruce. “Over the past eight years, the foundation has awarded HK$240 million (approximately US$30 million) to support 19 laureates to advance education research and development in over 50 countries. I hope to further develop this global community of Yidan Prize laureates and partners, where theory and practice unite to set new standards of excellence in teaching and learning, ultimately contributing to brighter futures for local communities.”
